In this episode, Adriana shares her story and highlights:
-
What it is like to choose yourself and how to manage the associated negative feelings that may arise
-
Acknowledging that we "teach" people how to treat us and that we can teach them to treat us differently
- How the way we tell our story impacts our lives and our expectations of the people & things around us
Adriana is an Environmental Engineer with a Master's Degree in Environmental Health from the University of Michigan. In 2008, she quit her job to pursue her passion for teaching.
After her 3rd child was born, she felt that she got lost in the shuffle of raising a family and working full time. So, she set out on a journey of re-discovery.
She found fitness and quickly fell in love with getting strong. She wants other women to understand the importance of making time for themselves while using fitness and nutrition to guide that process.
