On this episode of the MFA Chronicles Podcast we are talking with Michelle Stein. Michelle was a cohort of mine at San Diego State University School of Art and Design. We start off the conversation talking about how much we liked to make costumes for our kids! Michelle explained to us why she left nursing school to become an artist and how she defines her art and practice. We also took a deep dive into the MFA experience at SDSU. I asked Michelle to tell us her plans for the future including teaching and how she plans to continue making work. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did.
