A former small business entrepreneur, Victor was struck by community pushback toward much-needed affordable housing during a planning commission meeting in his hometown. The housing paradox ignited Victor’s passion for community service and prompted a career pivot to tackle the housing crisis. As a Project Analyst, Victor works with both Land Acquisitions and Project Management teams for Highridge Costa, one of the leading developers of affordable housing. Victor is responsible for providing analytical support for the acquisition and development of affordable multi-family housing communities with a specific emphasis on sourcing new opportunities and driving projects through the development cycle.

Victor is passionate about community service and being well by doing good. Together with colleagues, he created a food pantry that delivers food and personal hygiene items to formerly homeless veterans in permanent supportive housing on a bi-weekly basis. His goals are to expand the pantry to serve families/seniors, teach real estate part-time through the lens of a developer at community colleges in inner cities, and serve as a positive role model through mentorship in low-income communities.

Victor earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of California at Riverside. As an entrepreneur, Victor completed Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Business program and was selected as a Small Business Administration (SBA) Emerging Leader.
