Getting over a breakup is really two-fold: it’s getting over both the person and the relationship. The former is usually easier than the latter, but a lot of times we conflate the two. We can even know that the person wasn’t right for us or didn't treat us well. Yet, we’re still hung up on them and the relationship which can further contribute to inner turmoil.
