Late Los Angeles City Councilmember Tom LaBonge will be honored on Saturday with a citywide day of service. LaBonge – known to constituents as “Mr. LA.” – died in January. As councilmember, he represented the city’s fourth district. Simultaneous clean-up events will take place at Griffith Park Fern Dell Trail, Watts Towers, Victory Outreach Church, Algin Sutton Park, and Silver Lake Meadow.
