Today I have just a few words of encouragement for those who are struggling in a life not worthy of them. I don’t know why this was on my mind this morning. Maybe it’s because it’s almost Spring and I can already see so much life busting out everywhere that I want your life busting out too. Maybe it’s just because I believe the only good reason to build a custom home is to house a custom life.

Whatever the reason, here is what I want to tell you …

Don’t settle for anything less in this life than whatever version of you you truly wish to be.

If you look across the vast expanse of space you can’t help but notice that life is not the normal state of things in this universe. Which means the universe has to go out of its way to make life. Which means the universe has gone to a lot of trouble to put you here. Anything less than you, the real you, the best version of you, is not worthy of the life you’ve been given.

So, choose to live this life as the best and most authentic you.

If you’ve been neglecting you then start taking better care of you.

If you’ve forgotten where you left the real you then go find the real you.

If there’s not enough room for the real you in your life, then redesign, renovate, and remodel until there is.

If you’re worried you’ve come too far to start over, just know if you’re still breathing you haven’t.

Where you are doesn’t determine where you can go. It only determines the where you start.

Never measure yourself by where you are in life. Only judge yourself by where you’re headed.

I don’t know where you’re headed, but I do know your best life is ready to begin right now. All you need do is decide to live it.

I hope you do.

I hope today is the day you decide to stop waiting, stop settling, walk out into the sunlight and begin to build yourself a beautiful life.
