Episode 49.5:
First things first, this is not an episode. It is a half episode, a semisode, it's the shadow of an episode. It's a pre-curser to episodes to come, it flies in the face of episodes, it is not...an episode.
So, in this episode, Casey is conspicuous by his absence. In a flagrant act of self-abuse, he has taken advantage of a free house to wallow in whiskey, no doubt engaging in other vices, possibly browsing chickens on a popular search engine, maybe spreading his seed, and all the while dancing about in his tighty whiteys to Gloria Gaynor tracks and showtunes. Truly, he's living the life of a bachelor for one weekend only. I, Joe, on the other hand have GRAFTED and crafted a unique non-episode for your pleasure. It features me, talking about me. A recording from a guest to the show (this week), there is an unusual quiz for you, the listener (singular), an in-your-area featuring one of the North East of England's top musical artists. I sought permission from the band to play a whole song in the podcast and wouldn't you know it, granted! So you can enjoy that. Then after that I have made the mistake of including some vocals of my own, which should only serve to enhance Sam Fender's already amazing talents.
