Alex Steele is an organisational development consultant, academic and coach by day, and a professional jazz pianist by night. He is a visiting professor, associate and partner with a range of international business schools, universities and organisational development practices around the world, and he is well known for his work which blends leading edge thinking and practices in leadership development, behavioural change, organisational psychology and innovation, with the art of improvisation. He works with individuals and teams, exploring new ways of stimulating curiosity, innovation, collaboration and experimentation.



He is a regular contributor to leadership development programmes with London Business School and Hult International Business School (Ashridge Executive Education) and works directly with many clients across multiple sectors. Recent and current clients include Novartis, BMW, Roche, Saint Gobain, HSBC, WL Gore, EY, Siemens, KONE, Intel, World Economic Forum, Swarovski, Marks & Spencer, Euroclear, Sage, Carrefour, Friesland Campina, Peugeot SA, and many others.
