In this episode, Andrew shares a discussion with Dr. Takeshi Suzuki, owner of R-Body Project in Tokyo, Japan.  Dr. Suzuki is a highly renowned athletic trainer who holds a wealth of knowledge on rehabilitation and training people of all levels.  Born in Japan, he got his education in athletic training from Washington State University.  Upon returning to Japan after his education, he began working with the Japanese Olympic athletes, particularly for the winter Olympics.  He is currently on the medical advisory board for the 2020 Japan Olympics.  His clinic, the R-Body Project, caters to everyone from athletes to the general public, focusing on teaching proper movement, exercise, and enhancing human performance.

This interview highlights the cultural aspects of training in the USA versus training in Japan.  There will always be some cultural aspects that influence how people in different countries train and condition.  Listen in on this delightful interview with two professionals of very similar backgrounds and occupations, both from different parts of the world.  They both agree on the same philosophy, the philosophy that the most important part about exercise is happiness.  Exercise isn’t about losing weight.  Exercise is about fundamental happiness, and losing weight is a benefit that goes along with it.  Enjoy the exchange of knowledge in this episode by these two athletic trainers, Andrew and Dr. Takeshi Suzuki.
