The Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation is a non-profit membership organization that seeks to document, honor and preserve the architectural heritage and cultural history of several downtown New York City neighborhoods. They seek both to protect historic resources and to monitor new development via an array of advocacy and outreach efforts, involvement in governmental process and public discourse, and educational programs for adults and children.

Also at this hour: Last month, New York City had its first cryptocurrency or Bitcoin real estate closing. The next week, an owner of the Plaza floated the idea of selling a “Plaza Token” to a group of foreign investors. Now, a hedge fund founder and tech investor and owner of the landmarked townhouse at 10 East 76th Street, is asking $30million in US dollars or $45million of value in Bitcoin. He is willing to accept bitcoin. We shall see..
