'Twas 4 days before Christmas, and somewhere in the city,
Two Boyz got together, to record and be witty
And James in his 'kerchief, and Jon in his cap,
had just settled down, for a long food based yap,
When what to their wondering ears should appear,
but a miniature guest, and his white trash idea-rs,
The little old 'gander, wit lively and quick,
they knew in a moment, it must be Joe Striks,
More rapid than eagles his hot takes they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:
"Eat Butter! Just, Butter! All you need are spoons!
On, bread? On, bagels? These things are for loons!"
He had a broad face and a little round belly
That shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly.
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And the hosts laughed when they saw him, in spite of themself,
He soon sprang to the subway, to the conductor, a whistle,
And away he flew, down the tunnels like a missile.
But they heard him exclaim, as he rode out of sight—
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
