"My client and I were having this conversation on our one-to-one call this morning and she mentioned, ‘Oh, I belong to this really big women's entrepreneur group and someone posted in there that Facebook is going to start shutting everyone down who uses their personal page as a business page, who does live videos and who sells products on the personal page.’ It is not like this is the first time that I've heard this scare tactic used."

This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, we are talking about the various reasons why using fear tactics as part of your marketing strategy is a misaligned way to run your business.

Realize that people are spitting out this bullsh*t because they want you to sign up with them to create a website, business page, opt-ins, sales funnels, etc. They resort to scare tactics to get you to buy their products.

Then, they will act like they’re selling from a place of concern and a place of wanting to help you. But just by reading through their threads on social media, you’ll know that they’re not.

I don’t like to call people out, but if you’re using scare tactics like this in order to sell your program or your services, you have lost your integrity along the way.

So if you see something being sold using fear tactics, don’t feed into it, don’t read it and don’t pay it any mind.
