I was fortunate enough to sit down with my old man, Rick Rogers, and dive deep into life pre-Kia. (God knows I came along and ruined everything.)

Pops has been working on an autobiography since 2012 and just finished it last week. It's over 1000 pages. This man got STORIES Y'ALL.

I thought I'd release this in honor of the fact he finished that sucker, and give you a little taste of what will be in the book. We don't quite make it to the glory years, but we get a taste of what life was like growing up in Miami, getting drafted into the Vietnam War, and much much more.

Pop was a storyteller and children's author for most of his professional career. He self-published three books and traveled around the US telling stories for school programs. He continues to tell stories in schools (he lands more paid gigs than i do. i'm not joking) and recently with the help of his more handsome son created his first website.
