New Year, same Big Cow. It's the first of the year, and to kick it off I'm joined by Jared Pechacek, who did the tweet which first introduced me to the Big Cow. We talk about the chain of events which led to the tweet and just how happy we all were in the period were the Big Cow first appeared, and we could all look afresh on the Big Cow.

In this episode I say that a fictionalised version of Geoff Pearson has been on the podcast. This is a lie I told, to try and throw off Geoff's enemies. We all know that the Geoff Pearson who's been on the podcast is the real one.

Talking points include: a picture burned into the soul; the Sumarian bull of the heavens; a god who might be interested in you in a way you don't enjoy; have I ever said "Them's the brakes" before? I don't think I have; Cowthulu; the larval form of a supermassive black hole; "I've seen pictures before, Honey."; "Too much bird for one body", I christen this the episode title, but it wasn't.
