Brandy’s life changed when she went to the hospital for stomach pain and found out she needed emergency surgery on an atopic pregnancy. She’d always wanted children but never had been given the opportunity. In this moment, it felt ripped from her. Why did she deserve this? 

Today, Brandy Ayers is the owner and operator of Brandy Cakes, an Oklahoma-based bakery that opened in August of this year. Brandy says how she never would have had the confidence to pursue this dream of hers without going through her trauma. 

Opening her bakery gave Brandy a newfound purpose and goal. She finally has something beautiful and good she could put her energy into that celebrates the happy moments in the lives of others.
