Standing Up against Vested Interests - a podcast by Judge Jim Gray (Ret.)

Although the Delegates to the 1787 Constitutional Convention disagreed and fought about many issues, they were unanimous in believing that the most important function of government was protecting our individual liberties from the encroachment of government. (The second most important function was our security.) So our Founders would be deeply disappointed in our situation today. But there is a national public interest law firm that would make the Founders proud: the Institute for Justice, which is directed by our guest, Scott Bullock, Esq. Scott takes us through many of the issues where IJ has helped the little person against improper seizure of property by governments, improper license requirements that only protect vested interests, educational choice which allows parents to choose where their governmental money will be spent for their children's education, and so much more. After listening to this show, you will be proud of IJ. You can learn more at IJ.org.
