It is obscene that today we have too many schools failing our students -- mostly in the lower economic areas which, regretfully involve many people of color. But Help is on the Way, because groups like EdChoice are helping to empower parents to choose where government money is spent to educate their children. When that happens, parents mostly will demand excellence. And, if the schools in Milwaukee, Indiana, Florida and others around the country are representative, excellence is what they will receive. Our guest is Mr. Robert Enlow, the director of EdChoice, and he will show us all how this approach is working. Teachers are valued, but often their unions put job security, longevity and their own power ahead of quality, with terrible results for students.
